Advisory Board

The purpose of Lachesis Biosciences Advisory Board is to provide expert advice to assist Lachesis Biosciences to achieve its medical and scientific objectives, consistent with contemporary scientific and medical practice.
 

Doctor

Professor John McNeil, AM, MBBS, MSc, PhD, FRACP, FAFPHM, Head of Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. His principal research interests include cardiovascular epidemiology, drug safety and toxicology. He has held senior clinical appointments at three major Melbourne teaching hospitals.

Dietitian

Ms Melanie McGrice, BSc(Nutr)(Hons), MND, APD, is an accredited practicing dietitian at Box Hill Hospital. She runs Health Kick Nutrition and Dietetics, providing nutrition consultancy to schools, corporate companies and aged care institutions and also has a number of private practices around Melbourne. Melanie specializes in obesity and its associated lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. She is a member of the Clinical Studies Program team at the Centre for Obesity Research and Education, Monash University.
 

Pharmacist

Dr Tim Morgan, BPharm(Hons), PhD, MPS, PMP, has more than 15 years experience in product development and technology commercialisation with leading pharmaceutical companies. Dr Morgan is a registered Pharmacist and he is a member of the Pharmaceutical Soceity of Australia. He was awarded his Bachelor of Pharmacy (with honours) and a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the Victorian College of Pharmacy, Monash University.
