Getting started on a healthier life
Getting motivated to improve health

It’s harder to get motivated for drastic change. The goal will seem so far away. The benefits are also hard to appreciate.
This means that tackling goals that are unrealistic can lead you into an action cycle of all or nothing.
You can avoid this by taking small improvement steps all of the time. This is a much easier way to manage your health.
For example, weight regain often is due to a history of weight cycling. This is where body weight cycles up and down over time.1 A couple of factors linked to avoiding weight regain are:
> Control of over eating; and
> Having a regular rhythm for meals. E.g. Always have a healthy breakfast. Don’t skip it.2
We help you set realistic health goals. Then you can work towards a position of day to day control of your health. We help you understand the factors that most affect your control.
