Management Team

Lachesis Biosciences is led by a management team with backgrounds in the pharmaceutical industry and government and a sound track record for successfully identifying, developing and commercialising new healthcare technology.
 
Tim Morgan   BPharm(Hons), PhD, MPS, PMP 
Executive Director
Tim has more than 17 years experience in product development and technology commercialisation with leading pharmaceutical companies. Before establishing the company he was the co-founder of Acrux Ltd (ASX:ACR) and co-inventor of the key technology patents underpinning this specialty pharmaceutical business. He played a key role in shaping Acrux, its products and the formation of external relationships with leading domestic and overseas pharmaceutical partners.
 
Dr Morgan is a registered Pharmacist and commenced his career at Glaxo in positions in product development and medical sales. He was awarded his Bachelor of Pharmacy (with honours) and PhD from the Victorian College of Pharmacy, Monash University with this technology being transferred to form Acrux.
 

Miguel Wood   BSc(Hons), MEnvS, GDAFI, F Fin, PMP
Executive Director
Miguel has 14 years broad experience working in pharmaceutical and public sectors. Prior to establishing the company he was Project Manager with Acrux Ltd and responsible for project management, business development and investor relations. He played a key role in the initial public offering and listing of the company on the ASX in September 2004. He is a former adviser to the Victorian and United Kingdom governments. 

He was awarded his Bachelor of Science (with honours) and MEnvS from the University of Melbourne. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from Finsia.
